Today we’re sharing a little charity project we recently completed for a fierce cyclist friend from the Mission in San Francisco. Brett recently participated in the AIDS/Lifecycle, a 7-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS. He trained and rode with a group of friends who coined themselves “Team Unpopular” and there was power in numbers - together the team of self-described “oddballs, weirdos, eccentrics and ‘unique’ individuals” raised a whopping $174k for the ride!!!! You can check out their team page on the AIDS/Lifecycle website here or follow them on Facebook (please do, as their status updates range from heartwarming to hilarious) here.
We were thrilled when Brett asked us to create Thank You Cards so he can send appreciation to all his donors. With a minimalist illustration of Brett’s black bicycle, a message on the back of the card and a flamingo-inspired hot pink envelope, the cards are really fun and get the message across with room on the inside for him to write a personal note to his recipients. The look was completed with a coordinating Return Address Rubber Stamp that we hope Brett will enjoy using in future correspondences.
Congrats to Brett and all of Team Unpopular! You guys rock!! (Top image borrowed from Team Unpopular's Facebook Page – that’s Brett on the right!)
