Michele & James: Wedding Portraits

One last post about M&J to give you a taste of their gorgeous wedding day photos. Again, portraits were taken in some pretty awesome locations (on a carousel, at the laundromat... heck yes!). And how stunning is Michele's dress?

Thanks again to Dove for sharing their photos with us!

Michele & James: Engagement Session

I wanted to share some of the fabulous photos that Catherine & Scott of Dove Photography took of Michele & James during their engagment shoot in NYC. I love all the different locations, in and around the meatpacking district, and that serendipitous sofa in the middle of the sidewalk... by far my favorite of the bunch!

All photos are courtesy of Dove Photography. More tomorrow from the wedding!

Happy Halloween!

Photo by ginnerobot, found via FlickrAnyone going to / gone to any good parties this year? Rocky and I plan to walk Gryffin around our neighborhood tonight in his skeleton t-shirt from Old Navy. There are tons of little tick-or-treaters in our neighborhood! And San Francisco costumes are so funny – last year we saw different kids dressed up as a box of granola, Gene Simmons and solar energy. This morning on my bus to work, I sat next to a commuter dressed as the Magritte painting, The Son of Man – frame and everything!

Photo Booth Buzz

Have you been to any parties lately that have old-school photo booths? My talented friend Ralph works with Buzz Photo Booths here in the Bay Area and their work is so awesome!

I love their aesthetic which combines an authentic, old school vibe with contemporary subject matter (awesome people, props and emotion, of course!) It’s a sophisticated take on what I think many people imagine a “photo booth” to be – the automated ones where you sit in a little machine. Buzz actually sets up a backdrop and has a professional photographer snapping high quality shots throughout your party. The lights! The drama! The totally frameworthy, artistic results!

Check out some of their awesome work below, and visit their website!
